Kencana unit wins RM830mil job
KUALA LUMPUR: Kencana Petroleum Bhd’s 60%-owned subsidiary Kencana Mermaid Drilling Sdn Bhd has clinched a contract worth about US$235mil.
Kencana said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia the contract was awarded by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the provision of offshore drilling services.
The contract is expected to commence by the fourth quarter of next year and has a primary period of five years with extension options for up five more years.
